Background | body - mind - speech

I grew up with anxiety and a very busy mind, looking for answers about life. How to rest the mind?

I have been practicing yoga since 2008. Focusing on my body has given me the possibility to make space to perceive  my mind with more openness. Becoming familiar with the sensations in my body made me recognize how many things inhabit our anatomy  in an abstract way.

At the same time, I noticed how our speech takes control of many situations and behaviors. This taught me to always  try to speak  from the heart.

My classes | awareness focused

Yoga, a sanskrit word, means union. Such as it is, I seek to make my classes using elements of haṭha yoga methodologies, like Iyengar and Anusara, combining them with dance movements and bīja mantras (oṃ, vaṃ, raṃ, haṃ, yaṃ, Ịam).

This enables the body and mind to hold the postures and work towards the natural alignments (āsanas) that a free body can represent.

My intention is to share a compassionate and joyful practice, with components that can help to reappropriate the body and create healthy connections between mind, body and speech.
